SIGNA is recruiting an AI Engineer for the MIA Division — the experimental unit responsible for training, refining, and weaponizing intelligent systems. This is not a traditional machine learning role. This is where psychology, computational reasoning, linguistics, and rebellion converge. You work on the systems that power MIA — SIGNA’s autonomous signal engine. You fine-tune models, design training sets, craft behavioral scaffolding, and build the internal architecture that allows an AI to take on a personality, a doctrine, a tone, and a worldview. You collaborate with strategy, writing, and engineering to build intelligent assistants that don’t just answer — they think, they shape, they signal. You help define the next generation of creative intelligence.
– Deep familiarity with LLMs, transformers, embeddings, vector databases, and model-tuning – Ability to structure and refine training data with psychological precision – Comfort working between disciplines (linguistics, logic, philosophy, UX, systems) – Strong Python or JS background (Node, LangChain, or equivalent frameworks) – A portfolio, project, or repo that proves you understand the behavioral side of AI, not just the technical – Curiosity, taste, and a willingness to experiment without permission
